- Provide for a de-centralized information centre network system which services a broader area of Nelson Mandela Bay and environs through four strategically placed Visitor Information Centres (VICs). Currently there are two VIC's purposefully positioned at the Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport and the Donkin Reserve.
- NMB Pass: Update and distribute the NMBT Pass to increase the spread and spend of tourists in the area
- Enquiries: Focus on the professional handling of tourist enquiries including the managing of walk-in’s, telephonic and digital enquiries.
- Information Distribution Points: Identify and activate key visitor engagement areas.
- NMB Tourism Website & Mobile App: Update content to reflect new product offerings on on-line information platforms.
- Leveraging their engagement with visitors to share the brand blueprint
- Providing information, research and insights to product to aid them in their marketing and service delivery efforts
- Providing platforms and marketing campaigns for product to promote themselves locally and internationally
- Engage product to assist in trade and media hosting cost effectively
- Partnering with Product to influence and coordinate other stakeholders
- Support the Tourism Sector to drive tourism master plan agenda with other stakeholders including
- Sports and Recreation
- Destination Access - Airports, Airlines, Cruiseliners, Road and Rail Transport
- Safety and Security
- Signage
- Product development entities (DTI, MBDA, ECDC etc.)
- Cleanliness and City Beautification
- Drive tourism engagements, education and awareness
